Children need CONNECTION more than anything else!
Sensei Darren breaks it down;
The times when children are the most responsive and happy are when they are most connected with their parents. Everything from getting down on their eye level, physical touch, and committed attention makes a bigdifference. When it comes to fostering self-discipline and self-esteem, children need CONNECTION more than anything else!
3 Easy Ways To Cut Your Kids’ Mobile Phone Addiction!
In conversations with moms and dads, I hear growing concerns about kids seemingly tied to their digital devices… “My son can’t put his phone down” or “It’s like she couldn’t be away from it”.
Here are some easy ways to help.
1) Cut off the internet on childs’ phone once they reach a data limit. When they know they have a data limit, they soon learn to limit the time they spend using their phone to save data.
2) All phones on the table. Pile the phones in the middle of the table during a meal and whoever touches or grabs their phone first has to clean up after.
3) Scheduled tech time. A simple effective idea is 30 minutes off, 30 minutes on. For every 30 minutes they spend off their phone, they are rewarded with 30 minutes to spend on their phone.
With a clear set of ground rules, phone addiction won’t be an issue.
